Shawn is married to his best friend. In his thinner days he was a combat soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces, then later became a commercial pilot and flew airplanes for about 20 years. He once got to shake hands and briefly speak with the guy who played Jamarcus in the movie The Watch, which remains his greatest accomplishment to date.
